Joel Cotton is an emerging artist from Utah known for his captivating sound. 

2012 He moved to the East Coast  to study at the Jackie McLean School at Hartt School of Music.

Joel developed his skills in Hartford under various accomplished musicians including Abraham Burton.

In 2014, he relocated to New Jersey to study at William Paterson University with Harold Mabern.

He has performed at prestigious venues such as Dizzy's Coca-Cola, Smalls, and Fatcat.

2016 Joel graduated with a Master's degree and began collaborating with notable artists.

In 2017, he started teaching music in northern New Jersey, inspired by Brandon McCune.

2020 Joel released a duo album and is preparing for another album release soon
